Hi guys, I'm one of you - a PHP developer with too many skills and not enough income. Most of the projects you see on here are thought up by people who have a problem they can't articulate, and it's generally not very inspiring work. What I'd like to offer you is something different. First off, it's a site development. Second, everything you do will be GPL'd. Third, I can't pay you in money, only in a % of adwords impressions depending on how much you contribute. The upside? It's a continual earner - if a minimal one. What it is: People like to eat. Infact, they spend a fair amount of their time doing it. So why are so few websites out there effectively talking about food? That's where my idea comes in. Imagine the fun of Flickr combined with the suggestive selling of Amazon. Imagine an open API that lets anyone else on the web utilise our data in their own applications. It's social networking based on food, friends, and eating. I've got much more specific details of the project as well as a project, however I'd prefer not to disclose them until I have more things sorted.
